The little sprog's nursery has been closed off for a couple of weeks due to an outbreak of Hand, Foot and Mouth disease (and no, the little sprog has not caught it unless stuffing his hand and feet inside his mouth dengan penuh semangat is a symptom). Lion3ss (a full grown adult!) on the other hand has somehow managed to catch it from her tot who goes to the same nursery as the little sprog!!??!
Because I've had to take too many days off of work recently when the little sprog was down with pneumonia, we've had to come up with another back up plan for a carer for the little sprog. So now we're holding up in Shah Alam so Opah can take care of the little sprog while I'm slaving away in the office. (Please note that even Opah has to take days off from work!)
Things in the office have been crazy. And by this I mean I've had absolutely no time to reply non-office emails, check my facebook, shop the net, surf blogs etc. And work late nights. Heck, even breathing is a luxury. Plus we still haven't fully recovered from the milk supply crisis and I'm downing fenugreek pills like they were candy (NOT! - the smell can kill dogs).
Last night I took the cab home. ALL THE WAY TO SHAH ALAM FROM KLCC. Because Mr. Mine had to work late and I couldn't stomach the thought of the little sprog drinking any more formula than he has to. The cabbie charged me RM45 for the trip but I paid him extra because he didn't try to make conversation in the cab and turned on the radio only just enough for me to hear the azan for buka (I like non-intrusive cabbies).
This weekend looks like another exhausting round of house-hunting. I hope I get to see the cousins this weekend for buka. And if any of you are reading this, please let everyone else know why I haven't been able to reply to your mails or even texts in some cases, ya. See you tomorrow. (and i'm not bringing anything I have to cook).

The doctor actually snickered when I told him I might have caught HFMD. Dia kata sepanajang dia jadi doctor, I was the second adult he has ever encountered you got it. Hmmmph..mana ada doktor yang gelakkan orang.
But unfortunately, my brother caught it from me too.
