We took Kenit to see The Wiggles Wiggly Circus Show yesterday. Padanlah ngan muka akak sebab dok ngutuk jantan tua ganyut empat orang yang dok terkinja-kinja on stage tu kan?? Kan tetiba budak ni dah jadi Number 1 Fan. *haish!*
Tapi jokes aside, dorang tu memang tua. It was Anthony, the Blue Wiggle's birthday yesterday and he's supposedly 48 ke hape tah. Seriyes!! Sebbaek show tu takde aksi-aksi Wiggles-wiggles tu berpeluk-pelukan manja ngan bebudak kan? Sebab kalau dak, akan pasti kes-kes Michael Jackson berulang kembali. But I was rather impressed that all four are fit and happily tumbled, backflipped and somersaulted on stage whilst singing and playing the guitar, keyboard and drums. Terror, I tell you, walaupun rambut sudah beruban dan receding and you can catch glimpses of sagging manboobs in those lycra/spandex long-sleeved tshirts they wear.
Despite having had to quit my job and menghambakan diri menjadi
surirumah mithali orang gaji (yeee, I really meant to strike out surirumah mithali), our move here has been a blessing. We are lucky that Kenit gets to experience a whole host of things that we would have been otherwise tak koser nak bawak kalau kat KL yang panas terik, berjerebu ittew. Plus, everything is commercialised to death and mahal nak mampos. Like for example, we actually missed out on the premium tickets for the Wiggles show haritu and thought that maybe we can catch it in KL since we'll be there when The Wiggles will have a show on. Tengok-tengok, the tix for the KL show are going for RM303 (like WTF!). Kat sini $30 and after conversion, tak sampai RM100. Luckily we managed to score the tix on eBay for a slightly inflated price of $40, but still is a bargain compared to tix price in KL (which reminds me, I have to post a feedback to the seller, jap eh).
melavyulongtaim,
Emm.
