A rose by any other name...

his current fav toy.

In the age of long elaborate exotic baby names, we picked a simple 5 letter name for the little sprog. I first heard the name during world cup season (have no idea which year because I don't even watch/understand football). He was a greek god adonis. 'Nuff said. I mean why else does a chick who doesn't know the difference between a penalty and a side kick watch football?

Well anyway, like I said, in the age of long elaborate exotic baby names, when asked what our son's name is, and we tell them, the reaction would be... "(pause) saje? sprog saje?" (p/s: of course his name isn't SPROG, I'm just trying to ensure that there is "some" level of anonymity here). Anyway, back to "sprog saje?". We get that so much that it kinda seems like it's become part of his name. Maybe from now on if we're asked what his name is.. we'll go... SPROG SAJE.

Hahaha...thank God our names are all short as well (with the exception of Mr Elly). We got the same thing when we introduce Lil Cub. Some even question - takde Muhd ke, Adam ke kat depan?

Oooh OoohHHHH! I remember that footballer! Dang he was easy on the eyes... :D

I think you did the right thing giving him a short and sweet name, easier to fill forms/exam papers... :D At the end of the day, even with 3 different names, one just usually uses only ONE to call a person by... and most of the time an abbreviated version to boot, kan?
